I consider myself a technologist first and all other interests follow later. I loved playing with machines from my childhood – be it mechanical, electrical, electronics or computers. I had my own battery-operated electronics kits as a kid and elevated to microprocessor operated ones during my engineering college days. Even now I enjoy pet technology projects at home during my personal time.
My anthropology interests are also based on my quest to understand how technology has shaped human evolution through agricultural, scientific, and industrial revolutions. Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari and The Great Convergence by Richard Baldwin have influenced me on this topic.
Information and Communication Technology revolution has dominated our lives during the last 30 years and I am fortunate to be a software engineer with opportunities to explore latest developments in this field.
