About Me

I am a software engineer, fitness enthusiast, avid non-fiction reader and travel buff.

With many interests to pursue, I try to balance my time across several activities and end up with busy weekends. I have developed this blog since 2014 as a medium to share some of these experiences with my friends and also as a way to preserve my memories.

As a keen follower of emerging technology trends, I spend weekend time on personal hands-on technology projects and reading books on leadership, start-ups and SDLC.

As a Fitness Enthusiast, cycling and running have been my primary interests. During a four-year period starting mid-2014, I completed several endurance sports events becoming a super randonneur (finishing 200Km, 300Km, 400Km and 600Km timed cycling events in a calendar year) and full marathon finisher. I started as a blogger to primarily narrate my experiences during these events.

Anthropology and History are my other interests. I satisfy my curiosity on these areas by reading books and visiting places. My blogs on books and travelogues cover some of my experiences.

Finally, I try new hobbies every couple of years and have attempted my hands on playing badminton, guitar and swimming as well.
